Match Report
Leicester Grammar School Boys-U12A vs  King Henry VIII School, Coventry
On: Saturday, 23 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

On Saturday 23rd September Leicester Grammar School U12 A’s played against a strong King Henry VIII team. We were immediately put under pressure from King Henry’s well organised rucking and counter rucking that resulted in their first try. King Henry’s pressure resulted in another two tries in the first half. A number of darting runs by Prab Bajaj nearly broke through their defence and tackling by Zach Conneely slowed King Henry’s quick line speed. During the course of the match our team’s defence was tested many times with the whole team working together in moving the ball around whilst under consistent pressure. King Henry III scored three more tries with the final score being 30-0. We had great performances from Oscar Considine who played through a knock on his ankle and Reet Rana showed his strength in the mauls. Bearing in mind we have only started playing together this season our passion and teamwork is growing each match. Thank you to the PE department and Mr. Potter for organising the match.
