Match Report
Leicester Grammar School Boys-U12B vs  Ratcliffe College
On: Saturday, 02 Dec 2017
Venue: at Home

On Saturday the second of December on a cold wet morning, a mix of year 7 and 8 B team players were ready to face Ratcliffe, who were likely to be a tough opponent. We came out strong putting our hearts on the line and suceeded with brilliant tackles from Matthew Simpson, Sam Robinson and Tom Star. We started well in the first half with good passing which ensured us three tries. Our big lead began to get shorter very quickly when Ratcliffe scored two tries. That was the end of the first half and we were dominating the play on the pitch with a score of 15-10 to Leicester Grammar.

We started excellently after a good half time talk from Mr Francis and Mr Howe and clenched another two tries in addition to the three we had already. The score was now 25-10 to Leicester Grammar and we still had time left in the match. The game went on and we were playing spectacularly with super running and tackling from Henry Hunt. In the last few minutes of the match Ratcliffe had one more chance to score a try and suceeded. The final score was 25-15 to Leicester Grammar. Well done to everyone played in that match and thank you to the the sports department for organising the fixture.
