Match Report
Leicester Grammar School Girls-U13A vs  Bablake School
On: Thursday, 19 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

On Thursday the 19th the U13A team went to Warwick University to play our first fixture against Bablake School. We started off the game well by keeping our defence strong. Unfortunately Bablake got the first goal but we still had that fighting spirit to win this game. Sadly Bablake scored another goal but soon after Leicester had a goal and we were closer to that win. Then Bablake scores another goal and we started to lose are confidence but we still tried our best. When the half time whistle went we came to our coach (Mrs Hutchinson) with an inspirational talk to get us back in the game. After our talk with our coach we went back out on the pitch hoping to bring it back. We had a few chances but we just couldn’t manage to get in the goal but also the Bablake defence was very good and we couldn’t manage to get passed them.

The game ended up being 7-1 to Bablake, though we got beat I think as the captain that we played well and that it was unlucky that we lost. Amelia Wenlock was the player of the match but everyone still played amazingly.

Many thanks to Mrs Hutchinson and Miss Calland for taken and organising the fixture for us
