Director of Rugby's report

A busy period of the year saw the U12s earn their first victory of the year against Lutterworth High School. Zach Laurenti and Oliver Bunce both performed very well in a superb 40 points to 10 win. The U13 side saw two winnable fixtures unfortunately result in a 35 all draw against Lutterworth (despite being 25 points ahead) and a narrow 20-15 loss against Robert Smyth Academy. Oscar McCarthy, Ali Kamel and Fergus Gilligan all continue to play with determination and high levels of effort. The 2nd XV defeated Pitsford 1st XV 67-3 away from home and a mixed Lawrence Sheriff 2nd XV 33-0. Our U15s continue to produce excellent results, beating Lutterworth High 65-5. Excellent handling in the backs resulted in several outstanding scores, whilst Oscar Stone, Nahbi Odeh and Thomas England all ran with purpose. A positive performance from the 1st XV on Open Day resulted in a 90 points to 0 victory, including a Peter England hat-trick, which puts us in a very positive mindset for our National Cup fixture against Akeley Wood and a tough block versus Northampton School for Boys this coming weekend.
