Director of Rugby's report

This was a busy week for our senior players, starting with a tough Cup fixture against Loughborough Grammar School. Despite massive improvements being made since last weekend, our 1st XV went down 40 points to 20. Langley then visited LGS this weekend, and again there were real signs of promise but a slow start to the game meant a comfortable victory for the away team at both 1st and 2nd XV level. Finlay Quaid carried well in attack and once again Keshen Pathmanathan was valiant in defence. Our U14 and U12 teams played HAJC, and the U14 squad also suffered in the first half, but showed real resolve and determination in the second, scoring three tries against a well organised and talented Hickley side. The performance of the week was from our U12s who were comfortable 45-10 winners. Oliver Bunce again shone in an excellent game, alongside Prab Bajaj and Oliver Dunford. This week we face Oakham and Kings, Grantham and players are also reminded that the Leicester Tigers Good To Great session is being run this Tuesday.
